A man from Baltimore County was taken into custody following a vehicular incident on Interstate 95. The arrest occurred after Maryland Transportation Authority Police responded to a two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in Baltimore City. Sources report that the collision took place northbound on I-95 near O'Donnell Street, as reported by FOX Baltimore.

Identified as Marcus T. Harris, a 24-year-old, was involved in the crash, and upon further investigation, it was discovered that there was an active warrant for his arrest from the Harford County Sheriff's Office for assault charges. When authorities attempted to apprehend Harris, he tried to evade arrest but was swiftly secured. A loaded handgun was then found in the pocket of Harris's shorts, leading to additional firearms charges including illegal possession of a firearm, as detailed by CBS Baltimore.

The MDTA reported that no injuries emerged from their personnel during the operation. Following his arrest, Harris was transported to the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center. The situation has raised further questions about firearm possession and the oversight of fugitives with outstanding warrants operating within the city limits.
