When instructed to place his hands on his head, Logan instead attempted to flee, initiating a sequence of events that culminated with an officer firing their service weapon, as Logan drove away, dragging a police officer before colliding in an alleyway. However, the shots discharged did not strike Logan. WMAR-2 News reported that following the crash, Logan made a run for it on foot but was eventually subdued and detained after officers utilized a stun gun.

In the aftermath, Logan, alongside two police officers, was transported to the hospital and all have since been discharged. The incident led to the recovery of "two handguns, one with a high-capacity magazine," as well as "a large amount of narcotics and over $15,000" from Logan's vehicle, according to FOX Baltimore.

Resulting of this incident, Logan faces a slew of charges including attempted murder, first- and second-degree assault, and multiple gun and drug offenses. He is currently held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center. According to authorities, all officers involved were equipped with body-worn cameras, and an investigation into the exact circumstances of the shooting remains ongoing.
