In a recent disclosure by the Baltimore Police Department, officers conducting surveillance with CCTV cameras in the Central District napped a 31-year-old man for allegedly carrying both controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and a loaded firearm. The arrest took place on the 200 block of North Paca Street, according to a post by the Baltimore Police on their official social media page.

The officials spotted the suspect at around 5:30 p.m. on July 30 where he was seen in possession of what was suspected to be CDS. They consequently stopped the unidentified male, whose interaction with law enforcement resulted in the recovery of a variety of CDS and a CA200 .38 Special Revolver during his stop.

the suspect was then promptly transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing, the weapon alongside the substances marked yet another instance of the city's ongoing struggles with narcotics and gun-related crimes.
