
Early Monday morning, Eastern District patrol officers were called to the scene of a violent incident in Baltimore. According to the Baltimore Police Department's official news release, at around 1:03 a.m., a shooting took place on the 1500 block of East Oliver Street. Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 27-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the head.
The injured individual was promptly transported to an area hospital, however, the attempts to save their life proved futile. The victim was pronounced dead by hospital staff a little after their arrival. The identity of the victim has not been released, as the investigation is ongoing.
