
Across the country in Baltimore, an arrest has been made in a case that stemmed from a reported physical assault and robbery. According to a post by the Baltimore Police, on June 22, a male victim approached officers with claims that he had been attacked and robbed by an unidentified assailant around 9:30 p.m. at a business located on the 1700 block of Thames Street.

The case, initially just another instance of urban violence, saw detectives take over the investigation and successfully identify a suspect. The fruits of the department's investigative efforts led to the issuance of a warrant. After about a month of searching, law enforcement's persistence paid off when the Warrant Apprehension Task Force alongside the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended a 32-year-old male on July 18.
The suspect has since been transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility for processing, per recent update details.
