A gift awaits those spending over $40, an incentive that may attract collectors and new fans alike. Merchandise costs vary, as noted by KSAT, starting at $12 and reaching up to $75. As reported by KENS 5, this is the second year the neon-hued truck graces the Alamo City with its presence, promising an array of Barbie-branded goods.
The Dreamhouse Living Tour initially launched in conjunction with the 2023 Barbie Doll Collectors Convention. It has since swept across America, delighting Barbie enthusiasts in numerous cities with its curated selection of memorabilia. A news release states, "The Barbie Dreamhouse truck will offer an array of apparel, along with home goods and accessories inspired by a day in (the) life of Barbie in her Dreamhouse."
For many, the truck's arrival ushers in an opportunity to connect with a childhood favorite, now grown into a cultural symbol that spans generations. Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Barbie's first Dreamhouse, the merchandise on offer pays homage to the history and evolution of an enduring brand. While shopping, the fans will take photos with the truck that, adorned in pastel hues and stamped with Barbie's signature logo, will be parked conveniently at the mall's parking lot.
