Today, officers in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood successfully apprehended Oscar Colon, who was previously at the top of the BPD's Most Wanted List. At around 12:30 PM, District B-2 (Roxbury) officers executed an arrest warrant near 43 Smith Street. Colon, 43, a Boston resident, was detained based on an outstanding warrant from Roxbury District Court.
Colon had managed to securely establish himself on law enforcement's radar, accused of committing two counts of larceny and malicious destruction of property, both offenses involving amounts over $1,200. The arrest marks an end to what has been an extensive search, with Boston police finally to close the chapter on this part of the investigation.
