Despite the potential for a far more dangerous outcome, the situation was diffused without any reported injuries or further incidence.

The two juveniles now face several charges including unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, as well as carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a large capacity feeding device, both have been arrested and will be charged as delinquents according to the Boston Police Department's statement. Their cases are set to be heard in Boston Juvenile Court.
