The Boston Police Department has issued an urgent call to the public asking for assistance in finding Richard Hittel, a 63-year-old Dorchester resident who has been reported missing. According to the Boston Police, Hittel was last seen on Saturday around 2:00 PM in the vicinity of 20 Cushing Avenue. He was wearing a white collared shirt with blue dots, teal shorts, and a chain around the neck. Hittel is described as a white male, roughly 5’09” in height, weighing about 150lbs, with gray hair, and blue eyes.
Authorities have expressed particular concern for Richard's well-being due to his mental health issues. The Police Department has shared a photo of Richard and the clothing he was last seen wearing, hoping that members of the community may recognize him and provide any information that could lead to locating him. The Boston Police urges anyone with details on Richard’s whereabouts to contact 911 or get in touch with Area C-11 Detectives at 617-343-4335.
