
In an appeal to the public, the Boston Police Department (BPD) has requested assistance in identifying several individuals connected to an armed robbery that took place in Roxbury early Monday morning. According to a community alert issued by the BPD, the crime occurred around 7:40 AM on July 22, 2024, near 218 Blue Hill Avenue, where a group of seven individuals reportedly assaulted a victim and stole her belongings.
Among the suspects, one is depicted as a light-skinned female wearing a grey/black wig and dressed entirely in black, another is a black male with dreads standing about 5’06” tall, and sporting a Celtics hoodie. The group left the victim with non-life threatening injuries after the assault and robbery, which included taking her purse with contents such as credit cards, money, house keys, and two cell phones.
The District B-2 detectives are now combing through the details of the incident and are seeking any information that may lead to the identification of the individuals involved. They have encouraged anyone with knowledge relating to the robbery to contact them directly at (617) 343-4275.
