
The Boston Transit Police Department has launched a manhunt for a suspect accused of brutally assaulting an elderly homeless man at the Ashmont Station on the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) network earlier this month. The attack, which occurred in the early hours of July 10th, around 3 AM, has prompted authorities to reach out to the public for assistance.
According to a post from the MBTA Transit Police, the suspect is alleged to have viciously beaten the elderly homeless individual. The Transit Police is requesting anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to contact their Criminal Investigations Unit at 617-222-1050. The public has also been advised to call 911 or 617-222-1212, if they see the individual in question.
