A local music shop in Mt. Lebanon became the target of a brazen theft Wednesday evening when three masked individuals made off with several "high-value guitars". According to the WPXI, the Mt. Lebanon Police Department received a report of the incident shortly before 7 p.m., with at least four guitars confirmed missing from Empire Music, located at 719 Washington Road.

Surveillance efforts are currently underway by the local authorities to identify the thieves. The store's address is known as a hub for quality musical instruments, making the theft especially concerning for the community. The suspects were not armed during the commission of the crime, and fortunately, no injuries were reported in the wake of the robbery.

As investigations continue, the police department has turned to the surveillance footage in hopes of uncovering leads. In a report by WTAE, a spokesperson for the Mt. Lebanon Police Department stressed that the robbers' identities remain unknown and made a public appeal for anyone with information to come forward and contact the authorities by calling 911.
