The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is extending a summertime promotion that may appeal to families looking to squeeze in a final expedition before the school year resumes. Children aged 12 and under can enjoy free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket, a deal that runs through August 31st, as detailed by WFTV.
"We’re all about community at the Central Florida Zoo, and we wanted to celebrate ours,” Richard E. Glover, Jr., the Zoo’s CEO, said. “This is our way of saying ‘thank you’ and ending summer on a great note," as reported by WFTV. The special offer, aimed at providing cost-effective recreation for families, can only be claimed at the gate and is not available for online reservation.
Families on the hunt for leisure space where the diverse tapestry of wildlife is showcased might find this an opportune moment to educate and entertain their young ones without straining their wallets. As stated by FOX 35 Orlando, the promotion is valid for general admission tickets unto, and including, the last day of August.
Visitors should note that while the promotion extends to the general admission of the zoo, it does not cover special events such as Sunset at the Zoo or any other activities that typically demand an additional fee. Interested parties are encouraged to plan their visits accordingly.
