The Chicago Police Department has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old girl, Katherine Johnson, who was last seen on July 16, 2024, and last spoken to on July 20. According to the Chicago Police Department, Katherine is described as a black female, with brown eyes and black hair, standing at 5 feet 2 inches and weighing 190 pounds.
Concerns about her well-being are heightened as there has been no contact since July 20. She was reported to be wearing a pink top, pink shorts, and white & pink flip-flops when last seen, as reported by the CPD.
The police, turning to the community for support, are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the Area One SVU Detectives at 312-747-8380, or, in immediate emergencies, to call 911.
