In a nod to environmentally friendly practices, the Coon Rapids Sustainability Commission is playing host to a self-guided garden tour showcasing native and pollinator-friendly plants, along with edible food gardens. Slated for Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., this event aims to educate and inspire residents about sustainable gardening in their backyards, as per Coon Rapids Minnesota.
While not all garden owners will be available to discuss their green thumbs, witnessing the showcased gardens can still impart a wealth of knowledge. Participating locations will be marked on a map set to be released on Thursday, July 25, which can be found on Coon Rapids Minnesota's official website.
