
A grisly find in northwest Harris County has sparked a death investigation after a man's body was discovered in a parking lot close to a retention pond on Sunday. As reported by ABC13, the Harris County Sheriff's Office stated that deputies arrived on the scene on Hollister Street, near West Little York, around 6 a.m. following a tip-off.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez took to social media platform X, to provide updates on the situation stating that the deceased, a man who appeared to be in his 20s, had been in the parking lot for a few hours before being found, showing "obvious signs of trauma."

The immediate area was cordoned off by deputies who were spotted by ABC13 reporters placing crime scene tape around the parking lot which, lies not far from Eisenhower High School.
Further information from KPRC 2 indicates that the body was found in the 7400 block of Hollister near Beltway 8 and the Sam Houston Tollway. As detectives delve into the case, the circumstances that led to the man's body appearing at this location remain uncertain.
The identity of the man is still in the process of being verified by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office. In Meanwhile, the Sheriff's Office urges anyone with information about the case to contact the HCSO's Homicide Division at (713) 274-9100.
