Jones, who has not been seen since departing from his residence on the 19600 block of Cliff Street, is described as standing 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds, and is characterized by his long black locs and brown eyes.
As reported by ClickOnDetroit, the Detroit Police Department's 11th Precinct is actively seeking any information regarding Jones's whereabouts. Known to be suffering from schizophrenia, and according to his grandmother, there is an increasing concern for his safety. The police have emphasized the severity of his condition in a bid to underline the urgency of his discovery.
In tandem with their direct appeal, the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons unit has taken to social media, amplifying the search effort for the missing man. A post on their Facebook page echoes the description given by authorities and pleads with the public to reach out with any knowledge regarding Jones, imploring readers, "Please help us find missing Johnathan Jones.
