Detroit Police are actively seeking the community's help to locate 15-year-old Amorie Knight, who has been missing since last Wednesday after leaving her home on the city’s east side. According to WWJ Newsradio, Knight was last noticed walking away from the 14200 block of Camden, near Chalmers and I-94.
Knight is described as a young girl standing 5’9” and weighing 115 lbs. with braided hair. She was seen last wearing a distinctive blue jacket with white stripes, black pants, and black Crocs. The urgency to find her continues to grow as each hour passes since she first went missing. The Detroit Police Department's 9th Precinct and concerned citizens are doing their best to quickly spread her description in hopes that someone might recognize her.
Authorities have not yet released information regarding the circumstances leading to her disappearance. They are asking anyone who sees Knight or has knowledge of her whereabouts to make contact immediately.
