The Folsom Police Department has issued an urgent call to the public for assistance in the case of a missing woman deemed to be "at risk." Terri Thompson-Liggett, a 67-year-old white female, is the subject at the heart of this community alert. Standing at 5 feet 1 inch tall, she was reported last seen donning a t-shirt and black pants.
Significant to the search is her means of travel; a blue Toyota Camry with the California license plate number 7YEL129. Driving the car, Terri's last known whereabouts were near Green Valley Road in El Dorado County on Thursday evening. Amid a flurry of activity, the efforts to locate her have thus far been unfruitful.
In an effort to garner widespread attention, the Folsom Police Department has turned to social media. A post detailing Terri Thompson-Liggett's description and last known location was shared on their official Facebook page and can be found here. The community is being urged to come forward with any information that might lead to a swift and safe resolution to this matter.
The police are asking those who might know something, even seemingly insubstantial details that could assist in securing the safe return of Terri, to take immediate action. Concerned individuals or those with information can make a crucial difference in contacting 9-1-1 or the Folsom Police Department at (916) 355-7231.
