The piece, a reflective ode to the ideals of law enforcement—transparency and awareness, is fundamentally an impressive stainless-steel sphere. Towering at nearly 12 feet, when the sunlight hits just right, it promises to be a dazzling beacon representing the Fort Worth community and the uniformed residents who safeguard it. The dedication, naturally, is happening at the division's headquarters located at 3501 W. Risinger Road, according to the City of Fort Worth.
Not just a local monument, Huether's renown stretches across America. His art, which also stands proudly in key metropolitan hubs such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York, has graced numerous galleries and museums. The artist is no stranger to acclaim either; with more than 70 public commissions and a staggering 175 private commissions under his belt, his latest work in Fort Worth joins a sophisticated and prolific portfolio.
