
Fremont Police Department has confirmed the arrest of 30-year-old Morgan Foster in connection with a disturbing sexual assault incident. According to the released statement, the apprehension followed a comprehensive probe by the department's Crimes Against Persons unit. The investigation was prompted by events last Friday after an 18-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted.

The assault allegedly took place in Foster's vehicle, where he is accused of taking advantage of the victim's incapacitated state after consuming alcohol. The statement by Fremont Police describes that the victim had been out in San Jose with Foster, who provided her with multiple drinks before the assault in Fremont. Video evidence alongside witness and party statements led detectives to Foster's Sunday arrest.
Morgan Foster now faces multiple charges of rape under California Penal Code 261. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail, arraigned, and later posted bail. Fremont Police Department commented that while Foster has been charged, detectives are extending their search for more possible victims who have had interactions with him.
Law enforcement officials are actively seeking additional evidence and encouraging public cooperation.
