
Following a shooting incident in Toccoa, Georgia, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has apprehended three individuals, with another suspect still on the run. The arrests were linked to a violent altercation that left one victim severely injured, according to a report from the GBI's recent press release.
In the midst of their ongoing investigation, the GBI has charged Zatorian Y’Deetris Lacy, 21, with misdemeanor obstruction and disorderly conduct, while Christopher Lee Lacy, 37, and Shane Ladarious Lacy, 20, are facing charges for making false statements. Initial report incorrectly named Christopher Rentrell Lacy, 28, instead of Christopher Lee Lacy, 37. The correction has since been issued in regards to the identities of those involved.
The Toccoa Police Department responded to an emergency at Stephens County hospital on the afternoon of June 29, 2024, where they found the shooting victim. The victim, who remains unnamed, was subsequently transferred to another medical facility for continuing treatment. Details emerging from the investigation reveal that the shooting occurred at a home on West Whitman Street after what appears to be an argument gone awry.
Authorities are actively searching for Larquavious De’Shyne “Shyne” Colbert, 22, who is wanted for aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and discharging a gun near a public highway.
