As the summer sun began to set with the approach of fall, the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library in Arlington hosted a glow-in-the-dark-themed party for the youth. The event featured a luminous dance floor, 'spooky campfire story time,' and a 'Choose Your Own Adventure scavenger hunt.'
Starting at 5:30 p.m., the evening was filled with free drinks and snacks. Door prizes were provided by local attractions like Epic Waters, Go Ape! Zipline, and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
Best of all, the event was free and required no registration, making it an accessible and fun way for the community to celebrate the end of summer, according to the Arlington Public Library.
