In the wake of a single-vehicle crash earlier this month, constables from Harris County's Precinct 4 reported the arrest of Benita Igboko, an incident that occurred on the 19600 block of Kuykendahl. According to an official statement from Constable Mark Herman, the collision led to the discovery and seizure of 2.065 grams of Ecstasy in Igboko's possession.
The constables responded to the scene on July 5, where they encountered the aftermath of the crash their investigation quickly turned towards the driver's activities prior to the accident and it was during this scrutiny that the controlled substance was found. Despite the commotion that typically follows such an event, the details provided by the constables' statement were minimal but clear - drugs were found and an arrest was made.
"Benita Igboko was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of Controlled Substance. Her bond and court information have not been set at this time." Constable Herman mentioned, specifying the nature of the legal predicament Igboko now faces.
