Harris County Sheriff's Office Probes Death of Man Found in Northwest Parking Lot

In a somber discovery early Sunday morning, the body of a young man, estimated to be in his 20s, was found with signs of brutal trauma in a parking lot adjacent to a retention pond in northwest Harris County. According to ABC13, the Harris County Sheriff's Office is now conducting a death investigation after deputies were called to the scene on Hollister Road near West Little York at approximately 6 a.m.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared details about the incident on X, acknowledging that the victim had been deceased for a couple of hours before being discovered by authorities. He further confirmed that the man had sustained gunshot injuries and stab wounds. Addressing the situation in his post, the parking lot was soon closed off by deputies.

Although the young man's identity is yet to be officially confirmed, the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office is working in conjunction with the sheriff's office to unravel the circumstances of his untimely demise.
