Starting this July, any child between the ages of 1 and 18 can enjoy free meals at the Euless Family Life Center. This initiative is part of a broader attempt to bridge the meal gap that often widens during the school vacation period when free or reduced-price school meals are off the table.
The Euless Family Life Center, located at 300 W. Midway Drive, serves as the venue for this essential summer program. According to the City of Euless, eligible kids and teens can grab a bite to eat between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This service will be available until July 26, addressing a crucial need within the community.
