A neighborhood in northwest Houston has been shattered by violence as authorities are on the hunt for the individual responsible for the death of a 62-year-old woman. According to FOX 26 Houston, the victim was found with multiple stab wounds in her backyard on Saturday. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed that deputies were called to the scene at 20800 Sunshine Meadow around 7:00 p.m., where the victim was pronounced dead.
The man who identified the victim as his mother was at the residence when deputies arrived. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has not released any information about the suspect. However, with the perpetrator still at large, the community has been advised to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity, as recounted by Click2Houston.
