Charges have been filed against a man involved in a violent confrontation that resulted in an assault at 8950 Glencrest Street. On Tuesday around 8:40 p.m., an altercation escalated when Miguel Angel Guerrero Hernandez, 33, reportedly struck a 43-year-old man with his vehicle during what has been characterized as a domestic dispute.
According to a news release from the City of Houston, the victim sustained a leg injury from the incident and was transported by paramedics to a local hospital. The Houston Police Department's Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective A. Otero noted that police initially responded to a crash call at the address before uncovering the nature of the incident.
Guerrero Hernandez fled the scene but was later apprehended by officers. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has since charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The case is now before the 262nd State District Court, and Guerrero Hernandez’s booking photo has been released.
