The Houston community is on alert as the search for 32-year-old Cassandra Lettau intensifies, nearly two weeks after she disappeared. KHOU reports that Lettau, last seen on July 3 around 9 p.m. at the intersection of West 32nd and Yale, near the 610 North Loop and just north of the Heights, has sparked concern from local law enforcement.
With multiple tattoos, and listed at 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing roughly 140 pounds, Lettau sports blonde hair with black roots, and blue eyes. She was seen donning a white T-shirt paired with blue jean shorts when she last made an appearance, walking in a direction lost to those who seek her. The Houston Police Department is reaching out for public assistance to help locate her. Anyone with information is requested to contact the HPD Missing Persons Unit at 832-394-1840.
In conjunction with the police efforts, a poignant appeal emerged on social media from Grizzy's Hood News, highlighting the personal strife tethered to this case. A small daughter is left behind, asking for her "mommy".
The authorities urge anyone who might have seen Cassandra Lettau or holds any piece of information, regardless of perceived significance, to reach out and contribute to her recovery.
