Houston authorities are currently delving into the mysterious death of Damon Spiller, a 56-year-old man discovered deceased inside a residence located at 702 Girard Street on the morning of July 24. The discovery was made around 9:50 a.m., according to a press release issued by the City of Houston.
Upon arrival, Houston Police Department (HPD) patrol officers, accompanied by Houston Fire Department paramedics, were confronted with an unresponsive Mr. Spiller. Initial observations failed to reveal an immediate cause of death. However, an autopsy later performed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences would swiftly determine that Spiller had succumbed to a gunshot wound.
