
Irvine Police Department is on the lookout for a man suspected of filching a high-end pair of binoculars valued at $4,800 from a local bird-watching equipment store, as reported by KTLA. The alleged theft, which involved the perpetrator surreptitiously slipping the binoculars into his trousers, occurred on June 5 and was captured on the store's security video.

As stated by the Irvine Police Department, "Can you sparrow us a minute? This post may make you want to use fowl language, but you won't need binoculars to see what happened". The footage shows the suspect exiting the store without remitting payment for the high-priced optics, thereafter he was seen getting into a gray Lexus sedan.
