A 24-year-old man is currently behind bars following a violent incident that erupted over the weekend, resulting in gunfire and bloodshed at a Kissimmee apartment complex. Fausto Junior Toribio now faces serious charges including premeditated murder and aggravated battery, as reported by FOX 35 Orlando.
Osceola County Sheriff's Deputies called to the Simpson Ridge Apartments on Simpson Road on Saturday at approximately 5:30 p.m. and discovered a scenario where a confrontation between two individuals had rapidly degraded into a shooting event, as detailed by Around Osceola. While being less than a mile south of the Osceola County Jail, the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and required urgent transport to the hospital, according to deputies. Nevertheless, the current condition of the victim remains undisclosed.
Fausto Toribio, the suspect in the shooting, was quickly apprehended and remains in custody at the Osceola County Jail without bond.
