According to the Anne Arundel County Police, officers rushed to the scene on the afternoon of July 16 following reports of an assault, where they found that Joshua Richard Wader, a 34-year-old resident of Linthicum, Maryland, had reportedly drawn a handgun and aimed it at several individuals during a heated argument.
The official police press release, dated July 17, provided these details, noting that the 9mm Smith & Wesson firearm involved in the assault was also secured by the officers. Authorities moved to quickly defuse any lingering threats to public safety by ensuring the suspect was taken into custody. The arrest sees Wader facing serious charges.
