As investigators pieced together the events leading up to the tragedy, they traced both the victim's vehicle and the suspected shooter's car back to a nearby gas station. Surveillance footage from that location was reviewed, yet nothing out of the ordinary was noted prior to the altercation that seemed poised to explode in violence. The information gleaned so far has not yet led to any clear motives or suspects.
Authorities are currently reaching out to the public for assistance in the ongoing investigation. "Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS," as reported by FOX 26 Houston.
