Antonio Dean, a 34-year-old man, has been arrested following a fatal shooting that took place at a Buckhead gas station in the early hours of Thursday morning. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the incident occurred just after 2:15 a.m. at the Chevron gas station located at the intersection of Morosgo Drive and Piedmont Road.
Officers who responded to the scene discovered an unresponsive man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Grady EMS personnel pronounced the man dead upon their arrival. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the shooting followed what appeared to be an argument between the man and a security guard. However, authorities have not yet confirmed whether Dean was the security guard or another individual involved in the altercation.
Dean faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, possession of firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The Atlanta Police Department have not disclosed the identity of the victim as the case continues to be under active investigation.
