The incident occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Spruce Street and Broadway, a spot now marked by the tragedy; Seattle Police arrived at the scene to discover a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds officers quickly attempted life-saving measures but their efforts ended in sorrow as the Seattle Fire Department arrived and ultimately, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
