
Early Monday morning, in Seattle's Lake City neighborhood, a man was struck and killed by a vehicle leading to a homicide investigation. According to KING 5, Seattle Police Department patrol officers responded to the scene at approximately 4:45 a.m. near Northeast 125th Street and 30th Avenue Northeast. A 33-year-old man was found in the roadway; despite life-saving attempts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

As reported by KOMO News, a call about a "person down in the road" summoned crews to the intersection of 30th Avenue NE and NE 127th Street. The man, after a collision believed to be with a vehicle, was given aid but ultimately his injuries proved fatal.
Homicide detectives are conducting interviews to seek witnesses to the incident, and they are being assisted by the Crime Scene Investigation Unit, KING 5 mentioned.
