According to Action News 5, Memphis Police were called to the scene around 6 a.m. near Perkins Road, where it was reported that a man, standing on the rear of a truck, fell and subsequently was struck by a vehicle. The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
