
A daring rescue unfolded at Moulton Falls Regional Park this past Sunday as emergency responders rallied to save a man who had jumped from the park's bridge. After the leap, the man was found with serious injuries amid the rocky waters beneath the bridge, necessitating a complex rescue operation.
Clark County firefighters from Districts 10 and 13 swiftly coordinated their response, utilizing an inflatable raft to reach the injured man. According to a KOIN report, bystanders had already started to aid the man before the emergency services arrived at the scene. The firefighters and North County EMS worked together to stabilize and secure the individual onto a raft.
Once secured on the specialized gurney, they wheeled him from the river's edge to a waiting ambulance for prompt medical attention. KIRO 7 reported that the man, though seriously injured, was conscious during his transport to a local hospital.
