
A fire erupted at a residence in Washington County, leading to one individual sustaining injuries, the incident occurred overnight on Hamtom Road in Nottingham Township and resulted in burn injuries to a man, the severity of his injuries has not been disclosed, as reported by WTAE.
Emergency dispatchers confirmed the call to 255 Hamtom Road was made at 1:46 a.m., and upon arrival, fire crews were confronted with a fully engulfed structure, the fire's ferocity left the house as a total loss, and the man injured received prompt medical attention for burns to his lower extremities according to WPXI.
Seven individuals were present at the time of the fire, five of them being children, and only one occupant was harmed.
Local authorities and investigators are currently assessing the situation and have yet to identify the root cause of the fire, further information concerning the victim's condition and the investigation's findings will be communicated as they become available.
