Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Thursday night in the central Las Vegas valley. At approximately 10:23 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of Alwill Street, as mentioned by KTNV. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with a gunshot wound situated between two buildings.
The victim was quickly transported to University Medical Center; however, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The circumstances leading up to the incident involved the man approaching two individuals he did not recognize, which escalated into a fight. According to police, "the victim approached two people he didn't recognize and a fight started". One of the two individuals reportedly drew a firearm and shot the victim.
