
Late last night, a CTA bus ride turned violent when a 27-year-old man was stabbed and robbed in the West Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. The victim argued with another passenger before 10:30 p.m. while on the bus in the 300 block of North Cicero Avenue, as detailed by the Chicago Tribune.
The Chicago Tribune reported that the altercation escalated when the suspect produced a sharp object and used it to injure the man before fleeing the scene.
According to police statements, the man sustained a laceration to his shoulder and was subsequently transported to Mount Sinai Hospital. He was listed in good condition following the incident. The authorities have yet to take a suspect into custody as detectives from Area Four continue their investigation into the late-night crime, as Fox 32 Chicago confirms.
