A bank robbery at the PNC Bank in Glen Burnie resulted in the swift arrest of a 20-year-old Maryland woman. The incident occurred on July 12, 2024, at approximately 12:40 p.m., when officers responded to a commercial hold-up alarm at the bank located at 7301 Ritchie Highway.
According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the female suspect, identified as Di’Amani Ta’Lia Jones from Randallstown, implied she was armed and demanded cash upon approaching a teller. The teller complied and handed over money placed in a black bag. Meanwhile, another employee managed to activate the alarm, prompting a rapid police response.
A vigilant officer in the vicinity of 7th Avenue near Kuethe Road spotted a possible suspect driving a gold Mercury. The individual was positively identified as Jones and found in possession of the black bag containing the stolen cash. Jones was subsequently arrested and charged with the bank robbery.
