A warehouse in South Memphis has become the latest scene of a calculated theft, after a group of individuals made away with a large haul of automotive equipment, valued approximately at $90,000. According to the Memphis Police Department, the incident occurred at the K&C Warehouse, located at 410 Burma Drive.
On the morning of July 7, several suspects in a silver SUV and a maroon minivan executed a heist by cutting a hole in a bay door of the warehouse, and subsequently stealing an array of CAT and Stanley jump starters and battery chargers. The Memphis Police Department advises that the burglary took place just before 11 a.m, and maintains an active investigation into the matter. No arrests have been made at this juncture.
As reported by Action News 5, the police have reached out to the public to assist in gathering any pertinent information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the individuals involved. Law enforcement is encouraging anyone with knowledge about this burglary to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH, where informants are assured complete anonymity and assigned a personal ID number to protect their identities.
