The thefts took place throughout the morning at three different locations, according to a press release by the MPD.
Stored merchandise was taken by the suspects, first striking at approximately 10:06 a.m. at a retailer on the 1900 block of 14th Street, with the incident recorded under CCN: 24109455. A swift half-hour later, another business on the 3200 block of M Street became the next target, with a CCN of 24109573 logged. The thefts culminated at around 11:28 a.m. when the suspects visited a location on the 1000 block of F Street, documented as CCN: 24109491, as detailed by the MPD. The proximity of the locations and the timing suggest these events are connected.
The MPD has not disclosed specific details about the stolen goods or the value of the merchandise taken. However, law enforcement officials are analyzing surveillance footage and have asked anyone with information about these crimes or the individuals involved to come forward.
