According to information released by the MPD, the first break-in occurred in the early hours of July 1 in the 2300 block of 18th Street, with the case number 24100612.
Adding to the string of crimes, two additional burglaries were reported on July 21; the first took place around 4:28 a.m. in the 2800 block of 18th Street, swiftly followed by another at approximately 5:10 a.m. on the same day in the 1800 block of Columbia Road, Northwest. Victims of the incidents have been confronted with the unsettling reality of property violation and loss, prompting the police to intensify their efforts in apprehending the individual responsible, who have remained at large despite the details of these occurrences being cataloged under case numbers 24111639 and 24111709 respectively
