
Tragedy struck on the 4th of July in Anne Arundel County as a young motorcyclist lost his life in a vehicular collision. At approximately 9:11 p.m., a motorcycle and a car were involved in a grave accident on northbound Route 4, near Talbot Road. The motorcycle, unable to avoid an unexpected U-turn by a Dodge Charger, struck the car leading to the fatality of the rider. The Dodge was attempting to shift lanes to proceed southbound when the crash happened, according to FOX Baltimore.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Noah Allen Lee of Dunkirk, who was pronounced dead at the scene. In the moments that unfolded there, with the sirens blaring and lights flashing against the night, life was ostensibly deemed to have come to a devastatingly premature end. The driver and passenger of the Dodge, 73-year-old Ronald Avery Weeks and 57-year-old Sharon Smith Weeks, sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital in Calvert County for treatment.
An investigation into the specifics of the incident is actively ongoing, as the Traffic Safety Section digs through the details to ascertain the causes and contributing factors of the crash. WBALTV reported that minor injuries were incurred by the occupants of the Dodge Charger, and they were taken to a local hospital.
