The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reports that on July 30, at about 7:31 p.m., 20-year-old Edwin Diaz-Romero was riding a 2009 BMW R1200GS motorcycle when he failed to properly negotiate a turn in the parking lot.

According to the LVMPD, witnesses said the motorcycle began to overturn, sliding into the curb and subsequently colliding with the dumpster enclosure. Diaz-Romero was quickly transported to UMC for medical attention.
