
A family tragedy unfolded in Comal County when a man was arrested after he allegedly fatally stabbed his father, local law enforcement reported. The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on Monday at a residence on the 100 block of Dry Bear Creek, near Canyon Lake. According to FOX San Antonio, Comal County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene after receiving calls about a stabbing.
Upon their arrival, deputies discovered 57-year-old William Tarnosky of New Braunfels with multiple stab wounds. Attempts were made to quickly render aid to the victim, who was found seriously injured. Paramedics from the Bulverde Spring Branch Fire Department also arrived to try and save the man's life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, as KTSA reports.
William Tarnosky Jr., the 24-year-old son of the deceased, was arrested at the scene without incident. He has since been transported to the Comal County Jail. The younger Tarnosky now faces a charge of 1st Degree Felony Murder for the death of his father.
