Tragedy struck central Phoenix on Thursday night as one man was fatally shot and another suffered stab wounds in what appears to have been a violent altercation. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. near Camelback Road and Central Avenue, with police arriving to find one man dead from a gunshot and another injured from a stab.
Details remain scarce as the authorities have not yet identified a suspect, and the motivations behind this act of violence are currently unknown. "This incident is not related to the Fabulous Phoenix Four event. The event is unaffected and there is no immediate threat to the community," Phoenix Police Sgt.
